Privacy

This describes what this site collects, what it does with it, and what it deliberately does not do. It is written from the code that runs the site rather than from a template, so it is specific and it is short.

Analytics, and why there is no cookie banner

Visits are counted with our own code, served from this domain. There is no third-party analytics product involved.

Nothing is written to your device. No cookie, no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprint, no identifier of any kind. There is no profile of you to build, sell or lose, and a repeat visit is indistinguishable from a first one. That is why this site has no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.

What is recorded, one row per page view or interaction:

• The path of the page, with any query string discarded rather than cleaned
• The kind of event: a view, an article read through, a button click, a form submission, a phone or email tap, a link to another site followed
• The host of the page that referred you, never the full address
• Your country, taken from the value Cloudflare has already resolved at the network edge
• Whether the device is a phone, a tablet or a desktop
• The time

Your IP address is never stored. It arrives with the request, as it must with any request to any website, and it is not written down.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script stops before it records anything. Those signals are requests rather than law in most places, and they are honoured here anyway.

The enquiry form

What you type is what we get: your name, your email address, and whatever you write in the message, plus the company and topic fields if you fill them in. The submission is sent to us by email. It is not written to a database and it is not added to a mailing list.

Two further items travel with it: the country the request came from, and the time it arrived. Your email address is set as the reply address so that a reply reaches you.

We use it to answer you. We keep the correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation and to any work that follows from it. Ask us to delete it and we will.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. Turnstile sees your IP address to make that decision. It is used instead of a puzzle-based CAPTCHA because it does not require you to label images for someone else's training data.

Who else touches the data

• Cloudflare hosts the site, serves it, provides the bot check, and stores the analytics rows described above.
• Resend delivers enquiry emails to us.

That is the whole list. There are no advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no data brokers and no social media trackers on this site.

Fonts and other outside requests

The site loads its stylesheets, scripts and images from its own domain.

What you can ask for

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to us holding it. Write to info@techworks.ai and we will act on it.

In practice, the answer for a visitor who has not written to us is usually that we hold nothing that identifies you, because the analytics described above cannot be tied to a person.

Changes

If this changes, the date below changes with it.
